win2k printer sharing

I have two machines on a network. One running win2k pro the other xp pro. one was recently upgraded to 2k from 98se. The printer was shared in 98. Now in 2k everytime I try to share i get the following error.

Printer settings could not be saved. Operation could not be completed.

Are you logging on to the Win2K machie using the administrator account?

Click start, settings, control panel, printers, select the printer, right click, properties, security tab, select the everyone group, then check full control.

Yes, I am under the admin. I did the security already. Still no luck.

Any other things to try?
