I purchased and installed Norton Systemworks 2002, now, every time I close Winword I get this message:

What do I do now, reinstall Word? Office?:mad:

Have you tried using Microsoft Word with Norton disabled (turned off)?
Try this and see if you have the same problem. Also try running scandisk and see what it finds. And if you have Win98 or 98SE run System File Checker (SFC), see what has been changed.

Inre. Norton Systemworks 2002 page fault problem in Winword: Turning off AutoProtect makes no difference - deselecting the Mirosoft Plugin does. Beginning to wish I had stuck with McAfee.

Norton Antivirus can generate errors in Office Suite applications on closing. There are several different messages, but they all have a common source: A conflict with Adobe Acrobat 5 MS Office template files. You can disable the template files or turn of the MS office plugin in NAV.
