The joystick is a piece of plastic and after a few weeks of playing, it broke off. Is there any way I can fix it or get another gamepad with a jmore lasting joystick?

Mine are also plastic, but they're in perfect shape. What are you playing that makes you destroy your pads? FYI: I was in a local Office Depot right before Christmas and they had a Gravis 15(maybe was 13) button digital joystick for $4.99. Did anyone else see this? Does anyone have this joystick? If it's still available I think I'll pick up one (you never know when my 8 year old Gravis Analog 4 button joystick will break). B.Quix Bsamuels 01-06-2002, 02:13 AM ya gravis are pretty high quality, i have had a couple in my day, loved them every single day AnakiMana 01-09-2002, 07:34 PM What gamepads aren't made of plastic?? I'm looking at getting one of these Gravis Gamepad Pro controllers because it's shaped just like the Playstation controller. I don't own a Playstation, but I've played them and the controllers are great. AnakiMana Ka0ticSH 01-10-2002, 12:07 AM the buttons mostly screw up on that one i've had a wingman extreme for about 5 yrs so far. works like a beauty, i just never use it :). [BR]Magikal 01-10-2002, 12:24 AM HES TALKING ABOUT A LITTLE PLASTIC SCREW ON JOYSTICK(ONLY ABOUT 1 INCH LONG) THAT SCREWS INTO THE CENTER OF THE PAD PORTION OF THE GAMEPAD. I DONT USE THAT PART OF IT BECAUSE ITS KIND OF CHEESY BUT IM SURE YOU COULD CONTACT GRAVIS AND SEE IF THEY WILL SEND YOU A PLASTIC JOYSTICK THINGY. OTHERWISE I CAN TRY AND FIND MINE AND SEND IT TO YOU BUT YOULL PROBABLY JUST BREAK IT AGAIN. :0) Ka0ticSH 01-10-2002, 12:27 AM what's the CAPS for man?
