Are there any known issues regarding windows2k and a DSL connection? Although I do not have a DSL connection, a friend of mine is about to make the upgrade to windows2k and had heard that there were some compatability problems..
Also what is the most significant improvement for upgrading from windows98 to windows2000 for the average home user?
any opinions or links..... knowledge would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your time.

I'm using DSL via Earthlink (best in the West IMHO)/PacBell using RASPPPoE (dynamic IP software downloaded from the Internet; static IP no longer available here) on W2K. No problems.
