Looking for a freeware Remote Desktop prog

At work we use several apps for viewing remote desktops - SMS, Tivoli, Timbuktu, etc. Can anyone recommend a similar freeware/shareware app? I'm getting *lazy* in my old age and would like to be able to remote into the other machines on my home network, rather than physically go to them. I have Black Ice Defender running on my server, but obviously want something with security features built in - password, possibly encryption, etc...

Not sure if this will fit the bill or not, but have you looked into VNC?
