The heatsink/fan does come with a thermal heat pad thingy which isn't the best but is ok if you aren't an overclocker. But, the Arctic Silver II thermal paste is the best there is and lowers CPU temps by about 5C. Since I want to make sure my computer is extra cool I added more fans than I probably need. Since there is already one fan on the mobo, one on the heatsink for the CPU, one on the video card, and one in the power supply, all you would need to get is that extra sunon 80mm fan for the front intake of the case. So, as I said before, if you don't oc than you could get by fine w/o the Arctic Silver II or the system exhaust blower.

P.S. I dont have a keyboard in my config cause I'm gonna use my old one.

For the case I'd try www.BCD2000.com, they have the cheapest shipping for cases I've found so far. They do have some Generic case fans, but you might look at www.1coolpc.com for fans.

For the mobo, I bought mine from www.goroyalpc.com

Got my processor and ram at www.1steweb.net. I would call these people and make sure they have it in stock and stay on 'em to get it processed. If I got to do it over I'd get the memory from www.crucial.com

AMD Athlon XP 1600+ 266
512MB DDR RAM
20GB 7200 Hard Drive
52X CD-ROM Drive
HSP 56Kbps Fax/Modem
Compat. Issues
Enhanced Keyboard
High Res Mouse PS/2

its only 498$ that seems like a good deal but everyone gave them bad rating who knows them from experience?

I bought my processor 1.4GHz Athlon and 128MB Kingston memory from 1steweb and here is my experience:

I placed an online order on a Friday evening. The following Monday I received an email stating both products were out of stock and they wanted to know I they could replace it with a 1.4 GHz OEM processor and different brand memory.

I emailed them and asked them to let me know what they had in stock as far as RETAIL processors go.

A few hours later I received the answer. 1.33GHz retail and it just so happened that they got a shippment of Kingston memory in.

I called them on the phone and told them that would be fine and to go ahead and send it.

Wed. I email to get a tracking number. I ain't ever got one.

Thurs. I email to get a tracking number. I ain't ever got a response to this one either.

Fri. I call and the some guy tells me that they ain't got the processor OR memory IN stock, and asked if I wanted to replace it OEM processor and Micron memory. I told him that I was told on Monday that both were in stock and they should have already been shipped. Well he ducked and dogged my questions, but he finally checked the warehouse and sure enough the processor was there in stock but no Kingston memory. He got back on the phone and let me know they had the processor, but only Micron memory. I told him that would be fine, but I have already heard all this bull dung before. He told me that I would be shipped out as soon as we got off the phone. I didn't beleive him one bit because it was 5 minutes till closing time.

I received a shippment confirmation and a tracking number the next day!

Monday I had it in my hands!

They can do it if they want to. I think they are just lazy.

Would I buy from them again? Probably, but I would call to place the order and would call everyday after that also.

If you do a search you can usally find the same products listed at different prices, but look out for the shipping charges because they make up the difference. I just don't understand how two of the same item could have different shipping charges.

Good luck!
