hi,

i am planning to sell my old pc but the only problem is all the components aren't there!

Amd K6-2 500
Motherboard - Unknown
AT - Case
All connectors
48X CD-Rom
Floopy Drive
14inch monitor

As you can c i havent got a hard drive or RAM(I might buy some more) , i was hoping to get a little bit of money for it, but b4 i put it on ebay i was wondering if anybody thought it would be ok to sell and at around 200 pounds?

Cheers for the advice :)

My point was that selling a system in that price range may not work because brand new and refurbished systems are available for less than the $280 plus thru some liquidation sites.

There's no acounting for how smart yahoo and ebay buyers are however, so who knows, maybe someone would actually pay that $$.

Go to the sites and look for other systems for sale - you'll get a price range from there.

On this side of the pond, we would call that "trolling for suckers".

No offense but I don't think that you will have any luck selling a system on ebay...if you look on ebay alot of Athlon/Duron systems are selling for about $250 - 300. These are twice the machine your's is and they are going for nothing.

If you want to make money, lower your price or just keep the thing as an extra machine just to mess around with. You'll be lucky if you find someone to bid that high on it.

Again, no offense...just callin it like I see it!
