Partition

Hi all
I have compaq presario 5286 which has a 10 gig hard drive my OS is windows 98 all my data is stored on C drive thats all i have. But i would like to create another drive like H drive to store personal files seperate from C drive.
Can i use fdisk to create another partion without formating from fresh and loosing data or have i got to buy someting like powerquest partition magic if i can use fdisk can you tell me how to set up a extra partion.

You'll need third party solution such as PM to rearrange partitions on your HD without formatting it first.

Ranish Partition Manager (http://www.users.intercom.com/~ranish/part/) is free an does a good job of creating new partition.

Yep , I'm agreed with ND . Args , you'd better buy somekind of appropriate software . These Windows tools do not satisfy any needs. ND proposed you PM .Well , not a bad thing , but as for me...I prefer Acronis OS Selector . I always use it for partitioning my HD . Not to mention a plenty of other useful tools it has .
Compare them if you want www.powerquest.com(Partiton Magic)
and www.acronis.com (OS Selector 5.0 ) .
