Hi,

I am trying to boot from a 3COM 3C905B-TX-M NIC on my VC820 based system. The Intel documentation provided by Intel states that it is possible to boot from the network, but when I go into the BIOS, Network is not selectable in the boot menu. Also, I do not see the POST level message from the 3COM card that I see if I put the same card in another PC. I tried upgrading to the P18 bios, but it made no difference.

Has anyone else been able to successfully do this?

Thanks,
Chris:confused:

Thanks, I think;-)

In the end, I tried swapping my 3COM NIC for an Intel one, and hey presto, LANDesk Client appeared in the boot menu. Not ideal, but at least I have a workaround!
