Alright, I just got my 256MB CL2 PC133 SDRAM in the mail today and I've been mucking around with the SDRAM timing settings a little. My first question is what can I use as a good stability test to make sure that my computer isn't going to do something wierd while in the middle of something like, oh I dunno, after almost completing my programming assignemt for class it crashes. That would not make me happy.
My other question is about the settings themselves. More or less I would like to know which ones are generally speaking safe to mess with and/or what the optimal settings would be.
Currently the settings are as follows in the order they appear in the BIOS:
SDRAM PH Limit: 32 Cycle
SDRAM Idle Limit: 8 Cycle
SDRAM Trc Value: 6 Cycle
SDRAM Trp Value: 2 Cycle
SDRAM Tras Value: 5 Cycle
SDRAM CAS Latency: 2 Cycle (of course)
SDRAM Trcd Value: 2 Cycle
