I'd like to know your memory settings and what type of memory you are using.

I have a 8K7A+ iam sure the plus is just a Raid extra first i have a xp 1800+ so i run 266fsb no prob run 270fsb bit unstable need to tinker with voltage and memory adjustment. What are you problems? what cpu and mobo do you have?

I don't think that Camaro is having any problems. He was probably just wanting input on who was running over 166fsb (332fsb).

270fsb is only 135fsb x 2.

That's correct. I haven't overclocked yet, but I know there is a 1/5 divider at 166Mhz and at that point only the memory can slow me down. I have Corsair 2400. I have tried 150Mhz(300Mhz DDR) and it's fine. I haven't tried more cause my last mobo and video card died when overclocked. It ran fine for days then just died. Even the modem died. It was weird cause only the video card was overclocked at the time. So I'm just carefull now and want to know what works before I try it.

I've been running my 8k7a at 142fsb and multiplier at 11. It is very stable, but I haven't tried a higher fsb yet. If you try 166, let us know what multiplier you use etc. I have 2100 ecc ram.

so far have run 11.5 mulity/ Vcore 3.80 +0.1v/DDR +0.2v/fsb 145/cpu=1667mzh, cpu temp went from 39.9c to 46.8c Mmm what do reckon on temp? Still toying around try to lower multiy and go a diff route. Are memory set at 886222 happy there Samsung 2100. got new cpu fan coming wait for that then i can get down to real bizz. Don't want to melt new cpu.

I have Corsair 2400 and the timings are 8-8-8-2-6-2-2. I think those are too aggressive, but don't know too much about them to know which ones would affect overclocking the most. So I'm just trying to research at first.

The timings for my memory are 8-8-8-3-7-2-3.
