Just got it today. It's a force feedback mouse - kinda. There's a little motor in it that responds to various mouse events. Pass over a button or the edge of a window and you feel a little 'tick'. Drag a window or scroll and it sort of buzzes as you go. Pretty neat stuff!
Hard to explain with words so go get one ($40 and $60 models available) online or wait for them to hit the stores.
Also, it's optical like the MS intellimice and has a cool glowing logitech logo on it.

so how real does it feel, exactly? they claim you can "feel" on-screen textures and stuff. Is it that good? I have the mouseman wheel optical. Is it worth the upgrade? Did you try any games with it? Did they work well together? I think logitech makes the best keyboard/mouses out there. (Is the plural for a computer mouse mouses or mice?)

The feedback is very good - very precise. It matches up with mouse events well - there's no perceptible lag. Again, the sensation is very hard to describe - it's a little like a vibrating pager, but more exact and it does more than vibrate. It can buzz, tick, knock, etc.
There are a bunch of little ifeel enabled games available at immersion.com (checkers, frogger, tetris), and patches to make 'real' games ifeel ready: Half-Life, MDK2, Quake, Slave Zero, Nocturne. Soldier of Fortune and Battlezone II come with ifeel support built in. The only one I've tried is Half-Life and it's cool! You feel when you run across a metal grate or when you fall. It really adds to the experience!

Yest, it's an optical mouse - and a good one! The finger positions are different than the MS mice, but you get used to it.
Bhess - good price! I paid $62 for mine.

Found it for a little less here:

I'll probably get this one. Kinda like a dual shock for my computer.

thats for the regular one. I think the mouseman is a better design. And, the dual shock for playstation oly has one type of "rumble" that can either be faster or slower. I took it apart, and i found that all it is is a spinning magnet. From what i can tell, this mouse is a lot more sophisticated.
