I know this thread is a repeat, but since this community is in the process of rebuilding lets list our favorite peer-to-peer file sharing prog. For quick and small files its WinMX but for large files nothing beats Direct Connect. (http://www.neo-modus.com/)

morpheus is the best, its like Kazaa but its not packed up the *** with spyware :D

I really like to be different, but I have to say that I've not found anything to compete with morpheus for capacity, veriety, accessability & usability all in one place.

that said a lot of the movie searches i do on morpheus just recently are riddled with fakes. Harry Potter for one. Still can't find a real one.

I wouldn't mind so much, but I can't just got to the cinema and see it 'cos i live on a little island in the atlantic with no cinema.

broadband has saved me in that respect.

If I could do streaming PPV I would pay for it but who does that with new cinema releases?

I too live on a small island in the Caribbean. Sint Eustatius. Not many people have heard of it. It is a small dot on a map.

I use Morpheus for all my file needs.

WinMX and Morpheus. The interface on Morpheus is nicer, but I get faster download speeds with WinMX.

hmmm never heard of winMX where do i get it? is it running on thwe same servers as kazaa and morpheus?? or is it something completly new?

Go to download.com (http://www.download.com) > Search "winmx" > download it > install, etc...

a few days ago i downloaded a new one called xolox it doesnt seem to have any spyware and it has had more large filles than any so far i have seen a few filles over 3gigs and flight sim 2002 all 3 cds.

i prefer hotline and winmx :D
