I need to a good company to recommend to some one to buy a complete computer system minus the moniter perfer AMD processors.
I could build it myself, but my uncle lives too far away for me to travel if anything were to go wrong.

These guys are the best in my state. They absolutely R0cK!
They do NOT use cheap integrated parts. They use high quality parts from various leading-edge manufacturers. I've had my sys for 1.5 years and love it. Got my mom one, and refer all my friends to them. I don't work for them and have no interest in their company except that I hate to see people get abused and taken for dummies when buying less for more.
Generally, I just point people to their own local system integrator. Go into their store and get an invoice and then do some RESEARCH on their parts. Don't let them sell you generic where-the-'ell-did-this-come-from parts. You get what you pay for. In fact, also check the ratings on Tom's site for the vendors, along with resellerratings.com.
Another site to *slather* over is:

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from www.Nutrend.com - very good
bang for the buck for a custom-configured system, and they
always fair well in PC World mag comparisons.
or
Just bought a Dell Dimension 4300 P4 system minus monitor,
speakers, and modem,but w/ 1.6Ghz P4,128MB SDRAM,(I'll add
another stick), 80 GB HDD, floppy,64MB Geforce2 MX card,
24/10/40 CD-RW, Windows XP Home and Works Suite, 1-AGP,
4-PCI, for $638 shipped.
To build this system myself would have cost over $800

Ebay is a good place to look for custom made unit suppliers. Also, use the free download Copernic Shopper program (http://www.copernic.com) to search for what you want. The program will arrange systems in either ascending or decending order of price as well as rate the company. We have one supplier here in Texarkana that builds units with a 3 year warranty, but they use only Intel stuff, unless their policy has changed. I too prefer the AMD offerings. Check out the warranty package and the number of years in business. A long warranty is of no value if the supplier is planning on a chapter 13 filing. Get address of company and contact Better Business Bureau in that town for information.

Try Monarch
www.monarchcomputer.com
They have a very good sales/customer service department that actually thinks about what you're ordering and how it fits together. Also they'll custom assemble the system with the components you pick. None of those OEM mobos that give me the willies.
I had them build a T-bird 900 system in the summer of 2000 for someone. Very well assembled, and on an ASUS motherboard.
Good system, good quality parts, good warranty, good prices.

Check out ResellerRatings.com (http://www.resellerratings.com) for customer satisfaction rankings of all kinds of vendors, big and little, good and bad.
Myself, I've had two great :D systems built by Outside Loop Computers (http://www.outsideloop.com). OLC caters to computer enthusiasts and overclockers. They build solid, very fast machines with top name components. They will custom build to your specifications. Two years ago, had a Slot A Classic Athlon 700@850 (using Golden Fingers device) using Abit K7A-100 mobo, last year had a T-Bird 1.2@1.4gHz using an Asus A7V133 mobo, IDE raid, Elsa Gladiac Ultra vid.... etc., etc. Both machines are solid, and run great... excellent gamers and business use. :D
The owners, Bill and Dave Jeffers know their clients by name, outstanding tech and customer support. Have recommended them to several friends who have also been very satisfied. Can't say too many good things... :D
Best of Luck!

It's currently dead, (by no fault of his own) and he's trying to work through the process to get it replaced.

I have built several systems using the ECS K7S5A and haven't had the first problem with any of them.
I haven't had to RMA a single board yet.
The systems are completely stable.
None of my customers have complained at all about their computers using the K7S5A.
But I only use 300 Watt or higher AMD approved power supplies, and Crucial memory.
The ECS motherboard sucks for overclocking.

It seems to be that the problem with those boards is caused by a combo of (but not limited to) XP Processors, DDR, and WinXP. They are great SDR boards, and work fine with DDR at 200 fsb, but damned if I've seen more than about 25% work at full speed with DDR.
newcentury, that 1.4 266fsb sounds like a very decent deal. Be cautios of vague ads ---the last one sounds good though.
