Quake III Frame Rate Test

Can anyone please tell me how to run the frame rate benchmark in Quake III.

I cant believe nobody could help you with this. Anyway I've never tried it myself. But i found this article, might only work with the demo though.

I think this is it (i'm not too sure):
1. Go to the console (tilde key ~)
2. Type timedemo 1
3. Exit the console
4. Go to the Demo from the main menu
5. Choose one of the Demos
6. When the demo has finished, go to the console again
7. The frame rate should appear
