1 pc is on win2k the other is on Xp...but just cant get them to see each other..I am using the same setting i always using b4 under 2k.



I tried hub or crossover cables...samo

Windows xp only supports TCP/IP network protocolls, so try setting up uor 2000 machnie to use this protocol and not any others.

Try using Netbeui protocol on both systems. Yes, I know it doesn't "seem" to come with XP, but Microsoft Knowledgebase article Q301041 states that it does, and how to install it. This article can be found at:
