It sounds like you need to do a clean install of all your dialup networking. here is a page I made for this.

Hope this helps out.
Cheers!

I'm stuck here. I was using standard 56k dial-up connection on my computer. Installed Sympatico High Speed(Cdn.) but I bought a faster computer and gave old one to my girlfriend. I uninstalled the high speed properly but dial-up no longer works right. It connects to the remote host but won't find anything. Everypage says "cannot be found", Napster says"cannot bind to port 6700.going into firewall mode." MSN messenger says I'm not connected to the internet even though it is. I've talked to tech support at my ISP 3 times and they can't figure it out. Computer "genius" friend can't figure it out. Any suggestions?
Hello
It looks to me like problem with TCP/IP.
Only way to check is to remove/restart and add again.
Ping ?

Thanks for the advice. Beemers-I'll give your ideas a try and let you know how it goes.
Medo-I've tried removing the TCP\IP several times but even after re-installing nothing changes.
Again, thanks for the advice.
