Hello.
I picked it up yesterday and so far, no random restarts. Of course, after it came back the first time, it took a little while. But, and this is unbelievable, it has the wrong proccessor again! After it came back the second time, it had the wrong one. When I sent it back, I told the repair center. Guess they didn't listen. I'm supposed to have 1.2 and I have a 900. I called Compaq tech and my case is under special investigation. Since it was repaired in a non-compaq repair center, I guess it looks suspicious. How many normal users actually check to see if they have the right processor? Not to mention they have replaced the mb twice, the hard drive twice, the proccessor, and the usb ports. Guess it's almost new again!
I'm told that this team will be in touch and the case won't be closed until everything is resolved in whatever manner it takes.
I will update again later.
Thanks to everyone who has responded. I still think it's going to be a power issue but we'll see. So far, so good.
