Can somebody help me here? I can't flash my BIOS to the new version. When I try to run the updating program, it just mumbles something about the BIOS information not being available. :confused:

You're using an older amiflash that doesn't support SIS735 chipset. Try to d.load a newest ami flasher from ecs webiste - must work fine. You can also try at ocworkbench --> forum --> ECS --> K7S5A FAQ --> Downloads - there are also unofficial overclockers' bioses avaliable.

You want to do

aminf326.exe 011016.rom

The flash prog on the CD rom that comes with the motherboard does not work.

Just download the two files above from the ECS site.
