Hi,

I m not sure if this should be written here, but i couldnt find a better forum for this topic.

I m recording video via my TV card in mpeg format, but I need to extract, delete, cut, copy, paste some frames from these recordings. Sometimes the recorded video is so big that I have to divide it into 2 parts to save it on a CD. Does anyone used movie editor that can delete certain frames from movies? Can u advice my one?

Also I need to write these videos on CD's, do u know any software that saves mpeg's or AVI's in VCD format?

Thanx in advance

Ok, I use Ulead video studio. I'm sure its not the best but it works. You can alter your video any way you want and delete portions, add voiceovers, music, I think up to seven layers.

As far as encoding, Nero CD Burning seems to be the best for me. You must have the video file converted to MPEG first but there are plenty of encoders to go from avi to mpeg or any other format you might run across.

Hope this helps
