memory for IBM thinkpad 750c

I seem to be finding conflicting information on what upgrades are available. IBM implies that 32 MB credit card will not work on this model here:

Other places are indicating that 32 MB can be added.

Has anyone put the 92G7235 (or equivalent) credit card memory in a 750C and had it work?

It does say that the 32MB IC is not supported, but why not try it anyways? They only cost $20 on Ebay.
