I saw one on ebay a couple weeks ago and the bid was at like $2000. Theses things have five gpu's with heatsinks and fans on em. They are like a foot long and they require an external power supply. Any one know what that one sold for? Aren't the reputed to be the geforce 3 killers? I don't know this is all just stuff that I've heard. skuz 11-19-2001, 04:42 PM It was never released. It was aimed to compete with GeForce2 Ultra. Can't really compare it with GeForce3 - different league :) Rumours talking about quantity of 50 samples only being out there. In addition, Quantum had these in their AAlchemy workstations, modded with internal power supply. P.S. NDD 11-21-2001, 07:04 PM Yes, this is the chip who was rumoured to cause all the problems V5 6000 had. It's a some kind of special AGP-to-AGP bridge, to allow four processors to show as one to the OS. BTW, almost same problem had ATI with their dual-chip Rage MAXX. Best Regards ...
