IE 5 and AOL 4 - any problems/issues?

Hey all,

Just got my free copy of Office 2000 Premium (one of the perks of working in computer sales!) but have not yet installed it. I'm still using AO-HELL 4.0/IE 4 and I've heard conflicting reports of problems/runs fine. Just curious what you people have/haven't experienced with this combo.

(Maybe it's finally time to spring for that cable modem!)

Well I can say for ME that AOL 4.0 and IE5 works just fine...I to also have the Office 2000 premium on my system. I have heard a lot of people complain of problems with IE5 in general but IMHO it is the most stable and FASTEST browers I have used to date. (i also have Netscape 4.6 and it gave me nothing but fits!

ps...I had a friend that tried to install IE5 from the Office2000 disks and it gave him problems...but when he used my IE5 "directAccess" cd and THEN his office 2000 no problem (this was on a Compaq laptop)
