I found 2 people who would buy my PC100 DIMM's. For what they would buy them for, I can get 1 stick of Mushkin 128MB PC150 Cas2 Memory.

Should I go for it?

Right now Im running 10x100 w/ RAM at 100Mhz Cas3 on my Thunderbird.

If I do the trade, I can do 9*111 w/ RAM at 148Mhz Cas2
..Should I?

Incase OS matters -
I have a Dual boot system, with WinME and Win2k Pro. I dont use Win2k Pro at all these days, and just boot into WinME, but incase it crashes on me, as its a Win9x kernal, I can always boot into Win2k to do my necessary stuff.

Also, I mostly use my comp to surf, listen to MP3's, and play games. The only time I do some crazy multitasking is when im surfing w/ 5-8 IE windows, got Outlook open, and have winamp playing, with IM and ICQ in the background somewhere.
Aside from that, its usually just one app at a time.

Absolutely go for the cas2. faster fsb is major improvement. I had a choice of athlon at 100fsb(x2of course) at 1 gig versus 105 fsb at 945 and the 945 is faster. when you get more money you can always add more cas2 ram. If you start to slow down, you can always close a window.
