Outlook Express 5 - Inbox has disappeared

Suddenly my Inbox folder in Outlook Express 5 (Running on Windows 2000) has disappeared. If I try to create a new folder called Inbox I get an error message saying that the folder already exists. Can see Inbox.dbx in the Local Settings section but I can't find it anywhere in Outlook. What can I do?? (Don't bother to email me as I cannot recieve any messages)
