Had my Plextor 121032 going pretty good burning audio cd's. Wanted to backup my D drive (apps) using a cd-rw cd I had used previously(supplied with the burner). Tried to erase the CD-RW using Adaptec EasyCD, then MVP mgr, and finally windows explorer so I could write the new D info, but nothing worked. The **** thing won't let me wipe out all the files off the cd. It tells me it either can't find it (?) or I'm not allowed to erase that file (windows-type file). Man, I'm not tampering with the OS, just trying to clear the cd-rw for new info. Any Ideas, guys?? Really strange stuff, here. This has me stumped, since I've done the majority of my Plextor stuff with audio. Thanks for ANY help.

C'mon folks. I know someone knows how to correct my situation. Someone else told me it might be the erase software is not very good. I don't know why it won't let me delete certain windows files, like tempoverflow, etc. It's on a cd, for Pete's sake.

Jim, I think I would just toss that CD-RW and use a brand new one.
