DOS boot disc

It appears I have acquired a "Fun Love" virus in my Compaq Presario 1235 laptop.

I have downloaded the virus killer from Norton, but part of the instructions are to insert the DOS boot disc and follow instructions.

I don't have the DOS boot disc and am trying to find a download if I can so I can clean up this problem that does not allow me to defragment my system more than 12% - 53%. It just keeps shutting down and refering me to scan disc, which has been toroughly scanned. I have followed all instructions in Maintainence Wizard also.

Can anyone get me started in the right direction?

You should have received a floppy when you bought Norton. If not, then there should be an option to create an EBD (emergency boot disk).

Go to bootdisk.com (http://www.bootdisk.com/) and grab DrDOS 7.X. It makes a great DOS boot disk. :D
