I am running a 1700 xp on a MSI K7T266 Pro and it isnt defaulting to a 133mhz FSB, and when i change it to 133, it wont boot, what am i doing wrong? it won't even post. is there a setting i'm missing? i dont like running my 1.47ghz chip@1.1ghz :(
could the chip be bad? the mobo? any one else have problems with these chips? its OEM so i hope it isnt bad (no warrenty)

Is there a jumper on the mobo to change between 100/133?
Did you flash the bios w/ the newest bios version?

nope, its soft bios, i guess its a known/common problem, a whole group of people are having the same problems....
