Hi, I know I'm going to get some stick about this but I need some help! Here goes!!

I have downloaded a file from Morpheus under the impression it was a retro game (strip poker wouldn't you know it!!) and errrrrrm, it's not!!! I tried to run it but nothing seemed to happen. Now when I've turned my computer on today it tries to dial up as soon as Windows is loaded, and if I close the dial up connection, Windows runs really, really, reeeeeaaaalllllly slow. I tried deleting the file as soon as nothing happened with it yesterday, but it won't let me. If I leave the dial up connection window open (without it actually dialling) then things seem to run OK. I opened the exe file in word pad and it seems that this little exe file is trying to allow someone to snoop on me when I'm OL. How can I delete this thing??

Please, please, please someone help me!!!

Thanks in advance

Silverbach.

Have you tried to remove it through add/remove programs? or is there an uninstall file in its folder. If not hit ctrl, alt, del and click end task for the program, then delete it. Have you scanned your pc to see if it is a virus or trojan? Trend micro and pandasoftware both have excellent, free online scanners.:)

Agree with the above, definitly run an updated antivirus program after that you should do a find in regedit and delete all instances of the program.
