Have you enabled TwinView (or dual view, to get the card to spit out video to the Svideo port) in your device setings?

If your card is at all like what I've seen, then you should be able to open up your Display settings, go to advanced options. One tab should be Device Selection, then put it on TV. Hopefully that will work for you.

Have you gotten the latest drivers from Nvidia's website?
That's the only other thing I can think of if the TV option isn't selectable.

You didn't say if you had tried the latest drivers, but assuming you have, might want to look at your Gfx cards manual and see if it has a jumper on it that enables the TV function. I've only ever seen that on really old cards, but it might be there.

hmmm I dought it will be the jumpers this card is a month old and its fairly a new version. And about the user manual nvidia has no tech support the only manual I got was 3 pages long showed how to run the setup. I went to there website and it doesn't have any email or tech support at all.

would I need some program to run this?
do I have the right cable? 6 prongs at both ends
do I have to run the movie in a certain program?

I dunno im stumped any clues? I have tried the latest drivers also

if the cable fits into the back of your card, it should be right.

Did the cable come with the card, or did you buy it seperately?
Most of the time the TV-outs are S-video. If that cable is wrong, it will cause the problem you're talking about.

NVidia is the chipset, but the manufacturer of your card is more then likely someone else, if you got the card in a box, then there should be another name on it.
Try to find the manufacturer's page and see if there's anything on there maybe.
