All operating systems are like dysfunctional families. Linux is like the poor hillbilly family that has its fistfights out on the front yard, screaming and cussing their every thought for all to hear. You can read all about their fights, who was fighting, what they were fighting about and who won the fight in the newspaper. If somebody breaks into the Linux home, the family invites the public to come examine the site of the break-in and discuss how the break-in occurred ad nauseam.

The BSD house looks a lot like the Linux home, but the BSD people are too busy checking and re-checking the locks on the doors and windows to fight.

Winduhs is the family that never comes out of the house and has all their fights behind closed doors. You only find out about who won and who lost from the county coroner. If somebody breaks into the Winduhs household, you will only hear rumors about it, and a member of the Winduhs family will stand on the porch, and claim that nothing is wrong. Afterwards, they will issue a press release that disses the Linux family for all its problems.

Now the Mac OS family... They hate everybody that doesn’t worship them as Gods and sue whenever somebody tries to make new clothes for them. They have no locks on the doors or windows, but nobody cares enough to break in.
