Dates say 0-0-1980 with all video drivers on CD-RW

This only happens when I use Direct CD packet writing software to copy video drivers to my CD-RW. In the device manager the date shows 0-0-1980 for all video drivers and other drivers. This is weird because when I use EZ CD Creator and run a session to copy the video drivers to the CD-RW the dates are what they should be. Why would packet writing on a CD-RW cause this date problem with the drivers?

Not familiar with the hardware, but the effect reminds me of Y2K problems.
