Guess I better get with the program and build
my very own web page. Any good links to get me started? What software do you recommend I learn with-FrontPage,etc.?

FRONT PAGE 2000
***************

While many on this board will dispute the following, my experience with FrontPage 2000 has been one of the best. It comes with all kinds of pre-done DHTML and database scripting effects that are unsurpassed. Pre-installed designs, color schemes, themes, and even message boards allow you to seamlessly integrate previous web content with whatever you like. I used front page to build my site <www.kisssys.com> and have not had a hitch yet.

Best of luck,

Is DreamWeaver too complex? I have heard it is by far the best WYSIWYG web builder. It is what my friends who work in webdesign use. Just not too sure if it is too complex for a newbie.

For first time pages I loved and still use FP2000. I have dreamwever (it's a bit more complex but is usable by a newbie) and a host of other web utilities but keep coming back to FP because of ease of use.. (Yeah Call me lazy ...I just dont have the time to use anything else right now!)
