I have a Dual Motherboard with a sis 5595 chipset. It has Xcel 2000 with 3 dimm slots, a PGA370 socket and a slot 1 slot for the CPU. It has on board video, sound and Nic. ATX with one PCI and one ISA. Can anyone tell me where I can find out information about this Board? The bios is Amibios 686 1999 on it. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

I,m just about 5 9's sure what you have is a PCchips mobo,
Look just above the ps2 connector and see if there is a version #
something like v7.2 etc.
If so go to http://www.pcware.com You should find it there
You can try pcchips.com but they offer no support at that site.
FYI, what you have is not a dual mobo, it will run either a slot 1 OR a skt 370, but not both.
With win98se and a clean install, the only driver you should need is the sis595, try google for that if not available at pcware.
Good Luck

PC-Chips M741LMRT.

http://www.pcchips.com.tw/M741LMRT.html

SiS 620+5595 chipset (aka Xcel2000), C-Media 8738 4-channel sound plus modem, Davicom 9102 LAN. Coppermine support in the socket depends on the board revision, with better chances for older boards when putting a slocket into the slot.

Drivers: www.sis.com.tw www.cmedia.com.tw www.davicom.com.tw, and www.pcchips.com.tw for the soundchip based modem.
