need major help with busines comps and software

i work at a semi-large store that sells large mowers, swimming pools, and chemicals. we have 6 computers networked with parts look up software. i need a business software that will do point of sale and interface with the parts look up to help with inventory and stock reordering. i have Partsmart by ARI industries as the parts look up, and have been looking at c-systems as the business interface software. i need to find a place to buy barcode scanners and the such to track stock. i have to work it from the ground up. the bosses in charge want to be able to do everything from the computers. if anyone has any idea were to get the barcode scanners and other ideas for the business interface it would be apriciated.

A nuber of years ago I worked for a company whose main product was a program called FACTS. It essentially did what you are looking for from POS to inventory control to most of what it took to run a small to medium business. We also sold the hardware and networking support There were additional modules you could buy for accounting and payroll.
