WEll after beening off and at my dads for his retirement ceremony from the air force after 22 years i came home and i was playing with my old 486. And i lost my win98 key. i know the number is in my registry can anyone tell me where its at? thanxs

The key code is listed in the registry under:
Hkey_Local_Machine\software\microsoft\ windows\current version
On the box on the right, scroll down to "product key". Thats your licensed key code you want to make note of.

Great for win9x, tried on 98, works.

What about NT/w2k? Not needed, just being wise-***.
