Got a pci Promise ATA66 controller card on a Abit bh6 rev 1.0 with latest bios flashed. Boot up posts the card with the Quantum drive on 0 and stats ata66 bios loaded, but it hangs at verifying DMI pool and never loads OS. ?? Anybody got any idea?

Sounds like a resource conflict. (mainly IRQ's)

Check your BIOS for a setting to make your computer boot from a "bootable add-in card" or similar

Yeah like Mntsnow said, its more than likely an irq conflict. Promise cards are picky about that. Try putting it in another slot.
