Is there a K6-3 550?

I think they quit with the 450 K6-3.

The fastest Shaptooth (K6-III) is 450

But they are making a K6-III+ for laptops at 450 and 500 MHz.

It will take some time before retailers get them.

Well I found out the answer to my own question...there is a K63+ for the laptop market that goes 500MHz, and a K62+ that goes 550MHz

Personally I think the Duron is more practical than the K63+, but since the K63+ is only for the laptop market I don't care. I'm waiting for the GHz CPU's for the laptops to go down in price as soon as the demand grows. That will be a long wait!!
