Ok I need mobo! I don't want to upgrade to DDR. I have pc133.
I need a fast stable mobo for 1.4 ghz t-bird pushing a geforce 2. 64 meg prophet and 20 gig 7900 RPM maxtor. I need stability. That is most important. Please post a responce. Should I go with MSI, ABIT, or ASUS? REMEMBER I NEED TO STAY WITH PC133 MEM!

I paired a 1200MHz/266 Athlon with the IWILL KK-266+ and have had zero problems in 5 months of daily operation(running an ASUS V 7700 64mb video card). Many people complain about the VIA KT-133A chipset due to the need for the 4in1 drivers. I've had no problems there, either. Oh, yeah, the 5.1 on-board sound on the KK is pretty good. Think you can get the non-RAID KK-266+ for around $100.

I just purchased an MSI K7T Turbo Limited that supports the 133Mhz FSB. It is solid and I have had no problems with it. I've updated the bios twice in the last two weeks dynamically from the internet with no problems.
Be fore-warned that your memory has to be high quality, 6 layer technology or you will have problems with electro-magnetic interference (EMI). The faster processors really push the memory. I bought some low price, 4 layer 133Mhz memory for my slower system with the fore-thought of using the memory when I upgraded to a faster mobo/cpu combo. The memory worked great with the slow system. It didn't work with my Athlon TB1.4Ghz system. I had to purchase the higher quality memory.

I would reccomend the Asus A7V133 or any of the A7V133 variants. It can run either 200/266 FSB Athlons with PC100/133 SDRAM. It also has dual ATA and dual IDE.
