Hercules Video Card problem

I have purchased a Hercules 32 mb card for my p2 350 that I built about 2 years ago. Sometimes when I power down my computer and then power up again later, Windows 98 needs to be booted in safe mode with minimul drivers. Sometimes, I can bypass safe mode and just do a normal boot-up BUT I will then need to go into control panel/display to re-select my color schemes because they have been turned-off somehow.

Shold I just unistall and re-install my video card drivers? Why is the system having problems with the drivers?:confused

Yes do the uninstall, sounds like the system is not keeping up with the new technology may need a better power supply to keep up with it as newer video cards need a steady supply of power.
