I ordered a kit with a KT-133s mobo, and included, instead of the the 128Mb PC133 SDRAM advertised, I got 128 PC100 SDRAM. Isn't the PC133 faster than the PC100, and that I should get it exchanged? Especially since I also ordered and recieved 2 256Mb PC133 SDRAM,s. BTW, isn't RAM measured by nanoseconds anymore?

Well mainly that speed is for the front side bus of the system, if you have a pentium II or III that runs at 100 Mhz it will not be a problem, but if you have a processor that runs at 133 and you want to use PC100 memory you are in trouble, the Mainboard wont let you run that one

My mobo has a 133 FSB, but came installed with P100 256 SDRAM. Dell OptiPlex GX110, P III 733. I originally was under the impression the board was rated 100 FSB, but when I increased memory to 512, the second stick was a P133 (figuring I could use it on a new mobo if necessary). Both of the previous setups worked, however I learned that the mobo will use all the available RAM, but only at the lowest of the ratings, ie P100. I replaced the P100 stick with a twin to the 256 P133. My benchmark tests improved by almost 30%.
