Recently I installed; and uninstalled, a faulty Access 2000 cd. Since then every time I atempt to access the internet, make network changes, or access help files, Windows prompts me to insert access 2000, any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it would be helpful, becuase when I click any portion of the access prompt my computer freezes, running windows 2000 prof.

Did Access provide a entry in your Add/Remove Programs? If so, run that. If not, then you'd need to remove references to Access in your registry (& possibly Win.ini). If not comfortable w/that, possibly some "cleaner" program might help, but there's not alot it could do unless it "monitored" Access's installation. Also, I don't know if 2K has some kind of Scanreg /restore function -- it goes back 5 days I believe. And there might be an "uninstallation" program on the Access CD. Might browse that to see.
