Didn't see a place to put this. so hope this place is ok ???

been as busy as the little spinning top. still going full blast here on the homestead. getting closer everyday. But, I did find the time to do this the other day. http://netzero.homestead.com/GenesCustomPcs/CEGeneC.html
I know it's not much. but, I got tired of seeing everyone else have one. I'm now as time permints me. trying to learn some html so as I won't have to use a site like this or just steal the code off this site and redo it in frontpage 2000 "gotta learn how". and have been checking into a hosting server and a com. name so as to have a perment e-mail address.
since I don't get to check my mail very often and get about 75/100 + a day. my pay isp in on my back. so I got a fix for him to. he he

also, some other questions ect.
#1 dose anyone know how to go about forwarding your mail to your new site.

#2 and if you change it in your bbs profile. dose it change it in all you past post/replies ???

I would like to use the netzero one as a backup. my pay isp runs out jan.1,2001 and besides I get just as good or better service from the free netzero. atleast I don't get kicked off all the time and I can get on-line. and can use outlook 2000 to send/recieve e-mail with.

#3 what are the advantages of haveing a .com name for your site and haveing a freesite like the one I listed. and haveing a hostserver.

#4 e-mail is my main topic here. I must be able to use outlook 2000 to send, recieve, and be able to save a copy of my mails. that is why web mail won't work. I just want to save a copy of the mails not the whole webpage mail.

sorry if I sound so dumb on this topic. but, better to be dumb and ask. than stupid and do it wrong on my own. he he

well wanted to say hay,
Gene C.

The answer to #3 is is it easier to remember, http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Circuit/9147/home/beemerworld.htm

or

beemerworld.com

if you were wanting to return to a this site without having saved it to your favorites last time you visited.

Cheers!

Hi Gene C

#2. Yes, your email changes in your BBS Profile should rollback to the past posts.

At least they do on this UBB software, and most previous versions I believe, which is Ultimate Bulletin Board, Version 5.39c, by Infopop Corp.
