Please Help With Xp display problem with games

Hi,

On win xp pro, when I try to play a game, the display is'nt the correct fit on the screen, its sorta smaller and basically not normal. and when i quit the game the screen returns to normal.
I know that the game is compatable with windows xp (it does this on all my games.)

I've tried everything I can think of.... I hope one of you guys can help me...

My guess is you dont have the right video card drivers.

What resolution, color, and refresh rates are you running?

hmm, i,m using 800x600 (32bit col) 60hz

If you have a S3 Savage4 Chipset you are out of luck, MS Plus! does not support the Chipset, neither does American McGee's Alice, Podracer does run (if you can load it without it digitizing) whereas it did not run period in win2000. :mad:

Speaking of which, I really need a new Vid Card! goin' for a Geforce3 Ti200 :D

My video card is onboard i,m not sure how to find the model?
hmm, since upgraging from win 98, i think xp took over the drivers.
My chipset is sis630...

I think my original guess is correct. Try to find out what kind of mobo you have then we might to be able to help you find the XP drivers if there are any. Check the manual or get a trial copy of SANDRA here. (http://www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra/)
