I have a flash movie that works just fine as long as I don't place it in an html frame.
When I do so, my browser crashes:
access violation (0xc0000005), Address 0x00000000
anybody seen this before?
thanx
Tell us what browser (& version) you're using and are you publishing as a Flash 5 of Flash 4 swf?

I 've had the problem with IE 5.0 and IE 5.5.
I haven't had the problem with netscape.
I use flash 5.0
thanks
I don't know what to tell you...
This is the only thing I found on your IE problem...
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q218/9/83.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=access%20violation%20%280xc0000005%29%2C%20Add ress%200x00000000&rnk=2&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=MSIE5
You're not using XML are you?

Nope, I'm not using xml.
I also looked in the knowledge base, and searched the net for known flash bugs, etc.
I guess it's not a known problem
thanks anyway
