Well, i'm wondering, what is the best thing rite now to look at, raw speed or spiffy new technology? We've seen the gf2 ultra beat the gf3 in most of today's games n not with all that shading stuff. and the new radeon 7500 is also faster than a gf2 ultra cause of the extra mhz. but in the long haul, what's better, mhz or new stuff? i'm considering gettin a new card if i have the guts to so i'm wondering. thanks, well the hype of t&l hasn't really proved well, so is programmable pixel n vertex shaders gonna be big or bust?

The new features over come the high clocks i think. Just look at the kryoII and read about it. It has low clock speeds and beats a gf2 gts.

"Progress" is the word, otherwise you'd still be stuck in 320x200x8 :(
I'd take the Radeon 8500 for it's much more advanced features and GeForce3 Ti 500 for compatibility, and "raw speed" :)

Best Regards ..
