I built a home server for file sharing, internet sharing, and running a webserver. If I run nt4 server on it and 98se on the 3 other workstations will I be able to control the access they have to the network. I don't want them to be able to change any settings on any of the workstations. Will I be to make them log on to the nt domain when the workstation boots up.

Hello,

1.Yes you can control their access to the network.
2.You can't (100%) prevent them to change settings on local PCs (only if they have NT)

3.They will be able to log on the NT domain (why boot?)

Hope it helps!
