Sandra2001 says I don't have my side band enabled. I have the 4in1 4.34 installed. What is it? Do I want it? How do I enable it?

If your mobo and vid card support it. Enable it your vid card properties......also, tell us what kind of system do you have?

A 1.33 T-bird with 512-pc133 and a hercules geo2 mx 400 on a DFI AM75-TC. I have real low scores on 3dmark2000, (5296) and my system freezes up on 3dmark2001 and on sandra2001. I've installed the latest drivers from nvidia but i still have a few BSODs that talk about an error in a vxd file. I think I could do better

Enabling SBA (side-band addressing) won't give you better results in 3DMark, in fact, it can only possibly cause more damage when enabled.
And what exactly is that "vxd" error ?

They are always BSODs with error caused at various addresses in VxD. I looked for duplicate files and made sure my driver updates were for ME. I'm tempted to start from scratch but I get freezes when I try to move files to my second drive. I reinstalled bus mastering, but I can't get rid of that prob either. If this board and chip weren't a bday present, I'd get out my hammer!! More than likely I'll download all the latest drivers to my D: drive and do the fdisk.

Get rid of WinME, better go for Win98SE (but it won't give you SBA :( ).

I'd recommend that you not try to enable Side Band addressing mode for your video card. Like what ND has said, there's negligible performance increase from enabling SBA. And enabling SBA would affect the stability of your video card, especially if you're overclocking. :)
