My pc133 ram is suspect, I shorted out a mobo and it might have affected the ram too. My computer runs with it but apps get wierd freezes that they never used to get, and everything else on the system has been either upgraded or replaced. Is there a way to 'stress-test' this ram to see if it holds up under heavy duty use??

There's nothing I know of that would put load on the memory independently of other components. However, if you know someone with a stick of pc133, you could stick it in there and see if you still get the errors.

Here is a great RAM tester called DocMemory. Go to the bottom of the page where it says "download your free copy". http://www.simmtester.com/PAGE/products/doc/docinfo.asp

Thanks for the tip, thats great. I tested it on one loop of all the tests last night and it found no errors but I'm going to put it on cruise control this weekend and see what happens...
