What are cross-linked files? And how do I get rid of or fix them?

Crosslinked Files are to be ignored in Scandisk. A crosslink occurs when 2 or more files use the same cluster (area of disk) at the same time. If you try to use or delete any crosslinked files, The data in them may become damaged or further or your program may stop.
